Portraits

Portraits are one of my favorite subjects to draw. I love to capture the spirit of family and friends by drawing candid portraits from photographs. Charcoal is my strongest medium when creating realistic portraits. I can transform a photo into a wonderful black and white artwork. I easily work at a fast pace as the shadows and highlights start to come alive.

I also work in color with acrylic or a combination of watercolor and ink. These colored portraits usually take a little longer but are more challenging.

Please let me know if you are at all interested in getting a portrait drawn of your loved one. I will give you a quote based on medium and size. I can also mat and frame your portrait.
